Public Notice of 2023 Mosquito Season Pesticide Application

The Camano Island Mosquito Control District will be conducting mosquito abatement activities including pesticide applications as needed.

The approximate date range of applications; March 2023 thru October 2023

Pesticides and active ingredients planned for use;

1. VectoBac - Bacillus thuringiensis, subsp. Israelensis
2. Natular G30 - Spinosad (a mixture of spinosyn A and spinosyn D)
3. MetaLarv - (S)-Methoprene.

The Board of Trustees for Camano Island Mosquito Control District will be having a Budget workshop/hearing on October 21, 2021 during the regular board meeting to discuss the 2022 budget.
